Symmetry Closets Joins Team Shenanigans, Great Strides Walk 2018
Bonnie Reich, President of Symmetry Closets will be joining Team Shenanigans in the 2018 Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides Walk May 20th, 2018 at Jones Beach State Park. Registration starts at 9am and the walk starts at 10am.
Bonnie and her closet design team met John “J.J.” Byrne and his family while on the set of George to the Rescue (NBC) in the fall of 2017. Interior designer Rose Ott and her team invited Bonnie of Symmetry Closets to help her deliver a very special surprise for a deserving family in need of a “rescue”. The Byrne’s had part of their Island Park home renovated by George Oliphant and his team of amazing helpers in honor of John “JJ’ Byrne, who was diagnosed with Cystic Fibrosis when he was 7 years old. “JJ” is extremely active as assistant to the mayor of Island Park, and also with his church’s community initiatives. “JJ” may have CF but that hasn’t stopped him from making a lasting impact in his very own hometown.
While the construction and design teams renovated the office and kitchen, “JJ”‘s mother, Tara Byrne participated in some local promotional efforts with Bonnie, closet designer Sheree Jeans, and interior designer Rose Ott. Over the time of the filming and renovation they each got to know each other better and the invite to walk with Team Shenanigans came naturally. Bonnie and Sheree will both be participating in the Cystic Fibrosis Great Strides Walk on May 20th, 2018.
They are so proud to be walking in this upcoming local event, and they can’t wait to be there to support Team Shenanigans Great Strides Walk 2018!!
